Well, we landed at 9:30 this morning and I feel half dead and apparently she does too. If you follow other dog parents, the hint of this room is a dead giveaway. I’ll fill the beans in a few days.😉 now it’s 830 at night. My tummy is full and there is a bed that I can stretch out on calling my name after this long trip. Grateful to my hostess in many ways.🥰🌸🌿

Bonehead will never look at me. She looks so silly. She’s like mom put the camera away or I’m gonna put my ears down or look in the other direction… Every single time.😫🙄

Happy 8 month old Trigger is 👀 for his forever 🏡 in New England. If you look up the definition of the word “LOVABLE“ You will see a picture of Trigger looking back at you. It really does crush me to say it, but I don’t think that I can have him in my program. I have the blessing of his breeder Lisa Bowman This has not been an easy decision to make. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with him. There are so many good things I can say about him, however sometimes a large pack does not get along in all the ways that you want and need and I think it would be cruel for everyone involved for him to stay. (he does not like Ripley and he is jealous of her is the main problem) He is so happy and loving. If you allow him in the bed, you won’t even know that he’s there he snuggles up close and sleeps the whole night. In the three months he has been with us he has become 95% house trained. Very rarely has an accident. He sleeps in his crate, which is located in my bedroom with the other dogs and cuddles every morning and evening. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I will be doing the same questions and interview process that I do for my own dogs. He will go with limited registration, although he is not neutered due to his age at this time, he will do best with a family who is active and often home or able to take him with them as like with many ACDs he does not care to be alone. He would excel at sports but would also be very happy playing tug-of-war with another sibling, male or female or a human companion. He definitely also has working potential but to be clear he is NOT to be living in a barn. He is a house dog that goes outside to do his work with his humans 🥰 Still needs work with chickens and cats are Unknown FYI. he loves everyone he meets❣️ I am in no hurry to place him. I will be taking my time until the right fit comes along.

Mom is on a mission in Massachusetts to get herself a woodstove since hers broke this winter 😢 and I get the privilege of having Zip a Doodle Noodle spend some time with me🥰 I am so lucky  at least two of the six dogs on the property don’t chase birds🤣 i’m outside playing both the carpenter and the Farmer Jane roll as I work on the henhouse lol

Oh my goodness! Helo was the only cattle dog i have ever had that knew how to howl from birth🤣 Mercedes woke up and started howling at something outside and then everyone decided to give it a try😫😫 these guys are not for everyone. It takes a certain level of crazy to have a cattle dog in their life and no 2 are the same but the way I look at it is like children, especially girls 🙄they can drive you crazy but are you gonna give up on them? No way!! because they are worth the payoff! 🥰😁
