Hard to believe a new school year is right around the corner!

To help our community get prepared for another year of education, we’re collecting school supplies to support ScrapsKC. This is a local nonprofit that helps provide creative and educational resources to schools, teachers, and students in our community.

This week we officially welcome Dr. Savannah Harris to our Liberty location! 👩🏻‍⚕️

Dr. Harris started out as an intern during her undergrad at the University of Missouri. Over the years she continued to stay connected with Eagle, coming back to shadow some doctors at our Riverside location.

After graduating from MIZZOU 🎓 & passing her boards this spring we welcome her as our newest doctor here at Liberty! 🎉

Here at Eagle we’re always taking care of creatures great & small! Dr. Kayson was recently looking after Stevie, the 4.4 lb chihuahua, as well as the 113 lb Great Dane, Jonesie!

We’re looking to hire another registered veterinary technician. Another RVT within our staff will help us continue to provide highly educated & compassionate care to all our patients as our team continues to grow at our Liberty location!

If you haven’t heard anything outside just yet, we’re sure you will be soon! As the 4th of July holiday approaches we want to remind everyone about how keep your pets safe & comfortable during fireworks.

•Be sure to exercise your dogs earlier in the day to tire them out either with early morning walks or puzzle games to exhaust them mentally.

•Make sure dogs have a place to safely stay either in a kennel or small room.

•Block out fireworks sounds with other sounds like calming music or soothing sounds.

•Make sure your contact info is up to date on their collars or in connection with their microchips incase they accidentally get out of the house.

And for any dogs who get overly anxious during storms or fireworks, this is a good opportunity to reach out to set up a time to discuss that with one of our doctors who can help provide additional medical coping options. And if your pet has already been prescribed anything for this in the past, please call to get anything filled sooner than later!

We want everyone to have a safe & happy 4th of July holiday weekend coming up!

In observance of Memorial Day, Eagle Animal Hospital will be closed Monday, May 25th. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th with regular business hours. Wishing you and your furry friends a happy and relaxing Memorial Day weekend!!!!

We are so grateful for everyone who came out to Eagle’s 80th celebration on Saturday! It was a beautiful day to be outside visiting with clients & staff from all 4 locations! We thank you again for choosing Eagle as your veterinary team all these years & hopefully for many more to come!
