🚨 We’ve recently hospitalized two male cats with urinary blockages, and it serves as an important reminder to talk about a life-threatening emergency every cat owner should recognize: Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD).

A urinary blockage prevents a cat from passing urine and can become fatal if not treated quickly. Watch for signs like frequent trips to the litter box with little or no urine, straining, crying out, vomiting, lethargy, or hiding.

If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait—contact your veterinarian immediately. Early treatment can save your cat’s life. 🧡🐾
