Life is a book of chapters. First steps, graduations, marriage and retirement are just a few of those chapters. April and I will be starting the next chapter, retirement, at the end of this week.

Reflecting on the last chapter… We have made some wonderful friends, had the pleasure of spending time with your babies and enjoying a job that didn't resemble work. With your help, we built more than a business. We have been truly blessed and happy to be able to pass the blessing along. One of our hardest decisions in retirement has been ensuring our customers were taken care of by whoever took over. Without a doubt, we are excited with the decision to pass Pretty Paws to Gracie Bromley. Hindsight is 20/20. We wish we would have found her years ago. She will continue the standards we have built and grow relationships.

We want to give a heartfelt thanks to all of our customers over the years. Your loyalty has always been appreciated. Thank you for trusting us to take care of your family. We wish each and every one of you the happiest life has to offer. From our hearts, thank you!

April and I want to wish all of our customers a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy the time with family and the many blessings in life! We truly have a lot to be thankful for in this world!

We will be closed the week of Thanksgiving. Our son Braden and his lovely wife Liz will be home on leave. It's been a few years since we have seen them due to being stationed on the West Coast and multiple deployments. We are looking forward to having family time together.

If you wish to schedule an appointment while we are off, shoot us a text or leave a message on the voicemail. FYI, we have a few openings left the week of December 9-13. The rest of September is booked. Our next openings start the week of January 20.

Good afternoon,

As you know, April and I have been planning retirement for a couple of years now. Everytime we think we have a date set, something comes up to change our plans. We are at that crossroads once again.

The hardest decision we faced, when discussing retirement, was how to ensure Pretty Paws continued to provide the same service to you after our departure. The greatest part of our business has been building relationships. In seeking our replacement, that was our top priority, finding someone who understood the value of being more than just a service provider.

We thought we had found our replacement that would provide the faithful and loyal service you deserve and have come to expect. Yesterday, our confidence in that determination dwindled when the terms of our agreement started changing.

After careful consideration and deliberation, April and I have decided to temporarily table our retirement plans and continue to serve our community. Our success has never been measured by a dollar sign, rather the relationships and trust we have built. Our clients, our friends, deserve the very best.

We want to thank you for being more than just our customer. We are deeply grateful.

ROLLING INTO MAY...
We are still staying ahead on the schedule. Usually we are 2-4 weeks behind at this time of year. We are only a couple days out now if you are needing a groom.

April and I will be making an announcement shortly on some changes happening at Pretty Paws. A post is coming soon....
