As dedicated members of your pet's healthcare team, The Groomer believes in proactive education. We've encountered cases of ticks on medicated dogs, where ticks were dead yet embedded in the skin. Common areas to regularly check are ears, sanitary areas, and your pet’s “armpits” or axillary region. Recognizing that ticks can attach despite preventative measures is key. In such cases, ticks must be carefully removed. We're more than happy to perform this procedure. I am attaching a guide on safe removal practices, emphasizing the importance of removing the entire tick to avoid further issues.
