Wise Choice was the name of Mary Ann's first horse and became the inspiration behind the store. The idea from Mary Ann and David Baseheart quickly grew and has become Lexington's most preferred Tack shop. KBC Horse Supplies and Wise Choice Tack are looking for 2 motivated and personable, part-time Retail Sales Associates. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, energetic, and genuinely passionate about equine care, tack, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with tack, feed, and supply purchases
- Provide knowledgeable advice on equine products
- Operate the POS system, and process transactions
- Help maintain store displays, stock shelves, and organize merchandise
- Assist with merchandising and setting up for shows (requires lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Keep store clean, safe, and organized
- Occasionally help customers load supplies into vehicles

Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of horse experience (riding, care, or stable work)
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, professional communication skills
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Must be available to work weekends and flexible weekday shifts

That’s a wrap on the Kentucky Three Day Event - 2026 Edition. We laughed, we cried, we gorged ourselves on Toasties, avocado toast. We want to thank all the brands that supported our booth this year including: Tipperary Helmets, RJ Classics, Fleeceworks, Chestnut Bay and Shapley’s.
We can’t wait to do it again in 2027.
