Some dogs come here to board, and somewhere along the way they just become one of ours. ❤️

Charlee was definitely one of ours.

She spent so many years with us, celebrated birthdays here, and made a whole lot of memories running around this yard with her best friends Hadlee and Truvie.

Going back through all of these pictures reminded me just how much fun this little girl had here, and that’s exactly how we want to remember her. ❤️

We are going to miss you, sweet girl.

DAYCARE CUSTOMERS!!

🇺🇸🐾 Well… Labor Day weekend is here!

The boarding dogs are starting to roll in and we are about to have a VERY full house. 😂 So for the next few days it’s pretty much all hands and paws on deck around here.

No daycare Friday through Tuesday. We’ll be back Wednesday!

And honestly after it hit 99 freaking degrees today, I think half of our daycare dogs have just been coming here for the air conditioning and the pools anyway. 😂🥵 The other half are here to see their friends.

We only have so many pools, guys. 😂

We’ve got a whole lot of dogs spending their Labor Day weekend with us, so we’re going to be busy doing what we do — taking care of them, loving on them, playing with them and probably taking way too many pictures. ❤️

Everybody have a safe Labor Day weekend and try not to melt!

Daycare kids, we’ll see you Wednesday! 🐾❤️

And to everyone trusting us with your babies this weekend… we’ve got them. ❤️

🐾 LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!! 🐾

I was going through an old flash drive and apparently stumbled across a little piece of Keshlyn history. ❤️

These pictures are from 2010–2012 — daycare dogs, boarding dogs, playtimes and a whole bunch of familiar faces from WAY back when. 🥹🐶

Some of these sweet babies are no longer with us, but so many of their families are still part of the Keshlyn family today — just with a new generation of four-legged kids. ❤️

And I know there are people following this page who are about to recognize somebody they haven’t seen in a VERY long time.

So obviously I couldn’t just leave these sitting on an old flash drive…

We’re taking a little trip down memory lane. 🐾❤️

☀️ In case you needed a reason to smile this Monday morning… 🐾💙

Here’s a little photo dump of what the Keshlyn crew was up to last week!

Mother Nature was NOT exactly cooperative 🌧️⛈️, so on the rainy and stormy days, we basically turned the kennel into one giant indoor doggy playground. 😂

We pulled out every puzzle, treat game and enrichment toy we could find, hid treats everywhere, and let everybody put those noses to WORK. 👃🐶 Watching them hunt, sniff, search and figure out where we hid everything may have been just as entertaining for us as it was for them. 😂

And whenever the weather gave us a break? OUTSIDE WE WENT! ☀️🎾💦

So here’s a completely random collection of happy dogs, silly faces, treat detectives, outdoor zoomies and a whole lot of Keshlyn fun from last week. ❤️

This is Tundra. ❤️ She needs your help finding a forever home.
And honestly… I don’t understand how she’s still waiting.
Look at those beautiful blue eyes. Look at that smile. This sweet girl has watched other dogs leave for their forever homes while she’s still waiting for someone to choose her.
She hasn’t done anything wrong.
She’s simply waiting for the right person to see her.
Tundra is around 5-7 years old, weighs about 46 pounds, and is everything most people say they’re looking for in a dog.

🐾 Loves other dogs
🐾 House-trained
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Up to date on vaccines
🐾 Heartworm negative
🐾 Loves long walks, car rides, and snuggling on the couch after a long day.
She’s past the puppy stage, but still has plenty of adventures, tail wags, and unconditional love left to give.
The only thing missing from her life…
❤️ A family to finally call her own.
So I’m asking everyone who sees this to do one simple thing…

🐾 DAYCARE FAMILIES 🐾

I wanted to give everyone a quick heads-up about daycare for the rest of this week.

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday), we’re going to be short-staffed due to several employees being on vacation. Rather than accept our normal number of daycare dogs and not be able to give each one the attention and playtime they’re used to, I’ve chosen to temporarily limit our daycare numbers.

If you need daycare this week, please don’t hesitate to bring your pup—we’ll absolutely be here for you!

However, if your schedule is flexible and your pup can stay home for a day or two, I’d really appreciate it. My goal is simply to make sure every dog here gets the care, attention, and playtime they deserve while continuing to provide the level of care that both you and your dogs have come to expect from Keshlyn Kennel.

This is only for the rest of this week, and we’ll be back to our normal daycare schedule next week.
