Ertugliflozin for Lamanitic Horses - Sharing this post again because this winter has been a struggle for so many IR horses. While this is not a new drug treatment, it is *newer* and many vets are not aware of this option.

Zygolide for the win. Same medication (pergolide) to treat PPID/Cushings horses. Better prices around $40-$50 cheaper. So happy to have options!

Redlight is also for kitties! When you are almost 20 years old, deaf and mostly toothless, you get all the things. As long keeps on climbing her tower, plays and does other kitty fun things we are here for her. The Schneider Saddlery redlight helped her so much after her front leg soft tissue injury from...well...trying to cat and jump down like she is 5 years old!

IYKYK...Longer sunnier days means a little shedding action is happening. :) We may be in a winter advisory with sinlge digits tonight, but the horses are like we don't care! Sun means coats be gone lol

When your All Thoroughbred January 1st birthday happens and your turn 30! you get mid day soaked snacks in your field and the Big Boy Rubber tub to hold all of your soaked delicious goodness. every day with him and for his amazing humans for entrusting his golden years with me.

Idarado has one of the kindest souls. True testament to the love he has received his entire life! All tucked inside tonight with all of his friends with endless hay, dry soft space, soaked warm nom nom, safe from the freezing rain turning to snow and howling winds. to provide this for him and the other beloved horses entrusted to me.
