Designing for Those Who Serve and Protect. 🚔

At CMW Architects & Engineers, we take pride in designing spaces that support the people who serve our communities every day.

The Versailles Police Department is a great example of how thoughtful design can create a functional, efficient, and welcoming environment for both officers and the community they protect.

We’re proud to be part of projects that make a lasting impact across Central Kentucky!

At CMW Architects & Engineers, we pride ourselves on architects and engineers working together to create buildings that do more than simply serve their function they respond to the communities around them.

The Fayette County Jail is a great example.

A facility of this size could easily become a massive, institutional presence on the landscape. Instead, the design works to break down and disguise that mass, drawing inspiration from the character of a Kentucky horse farm. The result is a large, highly functional facility that feels far more appropriate to its Lexington surroundings.

Not every building needs to hide in plain sight. But in a place like Lexington where architecture, landscape, and equestrian heritage are so closely connected sometimes the best design is the one that feels like it has always belonged there.

That’s what happens when architecture and engineering work together: form, function, and context all become part of the solution.

No one ever said a barn can’t be modern.

At CMW Architects & Engineers, we like to push the envelope of traditional equine design creating spaces where form and function work together.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless principles of Frank Lloyd Wright, this concept explores clean horizontal lines, natural materials, strong geometry, and a connection between the architecture and the surrounding landscape.

Because a barn doesn’t have to simply be functional. It can be a statement.

Equine Design. Elevated.

No matter the project type, CMW Architects & Engineers is always an option!

This custom Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, required some pretty extensive changes from the standard prototype. Our team worked through those modifications to create a design that met the client’s needs while maintaining the functionality and identity of the Holiday Inn brand.

From prototype modifications to fully custom designs, CMW has the experience to adapt, problem-solve, and bring each client’s vision to life.

There’s something special about working with repeat clients.

In the architectural and engineering world, every project gives us the opportunity to better understand our clients, their goals, their expectations, and the way they work. As those relationships grow, so does our ability to deliver an even better experience and outcome with each new project.

At CMW Architects & Engineers, we take pride in building relationships that extend far beyond a single project. Our goal is to provide an exceptional level of service from the first conversation through the final details, creating partnerships built on trust, communication, and results.

Because when it’s time for the next project, we want choosing your architect and engineer to be the easiest decision you have to make.

Great projects build more than buildings. They build lasting relationships.
