I’ve had quite a few people reach out recently about puppies for next spring or sometime next year, and I wanted to share where things stand right now.
At the moment, I do have puppies available and looking for their families. Males and females reds and apricots!

I’ve also recently developed some significant back issues, and combined with the number of puppies I currently have here, I am focusing on placing the puppies I have and figuring out what my is physically sustainable for me going forward. I am not making any permanent decisions about Moonrise or my breeding program right now but I am only accepting applications from people who are ready to bring a puppy home.

So if you have been following Moonrise and thinking, “I’d really like one of her puppies, but maybe next year…” I would encourage you to take a look at the puppies I have available now. There may be one here who is exactly what you’ve been waiting for.

Casper is medium red miniature poodle male puppy Expected size: 14-15" tall, 14-20lbs

This happy, sweet boy has such a positive, people-oriented personality. He’s bright, curious, and engaged with the world around him, with wonderful natural social skills and a genuine interest in connecting with his people.

He’s eager to please and naturally inclined to work with his person, which should make him a very enjoyable and rewarding companion to train. He’s also a clever little guy with plenty of social intelligence—he’ll quickly figure out what makes his people smile and may become very good at using that charm to his advantage!

He has that wonderful combination of sweetness, brains, and personality that makes a puppy incredibly fun to live with. We expect him to grow into an affectionate, connected companion who will keep his family smiling—and probably wrapped around his little paw.

Milo is a deep medium red color miniature poodle puppy. His color is expected to deepen and is unlikely to fade as he is gaining color at the moment as evident by his dark freshly shaved feet ( but can not be guaranteed).
He is expected to mature in 14-15” tall and about the same in weight.
From temperament assessment:
This boy is an absolute little social butterfly in the making! He’s friendly, outgoing, curious about his surroundings, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. He has a lovely desire to please and partner with his person, which should make him an easy and rewarding puppy to train. He’s the kind of boy who wants to figure out what makes you happy and then happily do more of it.

He has a sweet, cooperative nature, but he also appreciates being given a moment to make up his own mind about new people and handling. He isn’t a puppy who needs to be pushed into social situations—give him a little time to warm up, let him choose to engage, and his naturally social personality quickly comes through.

With continued positive experiences and thoughtful socialization, we expect him to grow into a wonderfully confident, people-oriented companion: happy to go places, meet people, learn new things, and most of all, be part of whatever his family is doing.

Remy is 12 week old miniature poodle male from Brandy and AKC CH Gordon’s litter.
He is expected to mature 13-15” tall and same in weight.

Remy is blossoming into the most gorgeous show stopping little poodle. The photos don’t do justice to his amazing apricot color that looks like spun gold in person. It is very likely that he will hold color and not fade as he matures.

Summary of Remy’s temperament assessment to help you determine if he is the right fit:

Remy is a truly special puppy with a heart full of affection, who approaches the world with an outgoing and people-focused demeanor, eager to form strong bonds. He offers constant orientation to his handler, staying closely attuned to your presence and cues. He's also quite clever and enjoys working alongside you, showing a job-oriented approach to tasks.
Remy will thrive in a home that appreciates a deeply connected companion who loves to be physically close and involved in daily
activities. He will benefit from a consistent routine that includes engaging, collaborative training - even if informal - which he finds highly fulfilling. His strong motivation for food and high scent interest make him an excellent candidate for nose work games or treat-based puzzle toys, enriching his environment and channeling his focus. Although he leans toward lower-output energy, he still
appreciates shared experiences and will happily join you for walks and adventures. He is emotionally responsive and particularly unfazed by new sights and sounds, making him a steady and adaptable companion. He loves using his nose to
explore the world and is highly motivated by treats, which will make training a joy. His greatest joy comes from spending quality time with his family, so he will be happiest when he is right by your

Ziggy is 11 week old red miniature male from UKCCH Claire and Victor. He is expected to mature 14-15” tall and about the same in weight. He is very refined boy with beautiful face and pigment.

This happy, bright boy has a wonderful desire to connect with people. He’s naturally social, curious, and very eager to form a relationship with his person—the kind of puppy who truly wants to be part of your world. He may hesitate for a moment when something is unfamiliar, but his curiosity and bolder side quickly come peeking through. Give him a little time and encouragement, and he’s ready to investigate, engage, and try again.
With positive socialization and plenty of opportunities to explore the world, he has all the ingredients to mature into a friendly, outgoing companion who enjoys meeting new people, experiencing new things, and—most importantly—doing it all alongside his family. He’s sweet, people-focused, eager to please, and just waiting for someone to help him discover how much fun the world can be.

There is just something about this stage. 💛

The apricot and red boys are starting to lose that tiny puppy look and grow into little poodles with their own personalities. Every morning someone has become just a little braver, a little cuddlier, or discovered a brand-new game.

It's one of my favorite parts of raising a litter.

We still have **three reservation spots** available for these handsome boys.

🧡 Orange Collar is expected to be a Moyen over 15” tall.
🤎 The rest of the boys are expected to mature as Miniatures 13-15” tall and about the same in weight.
We are doing temperament assessments this week and next week and all puppy placements will be based on the assessment.

✨ Meet Mimi ✨

At 13 weeks old, Mimi is confident, bubbly, and absolutely in love with people. She greets the world with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a wagging tail, always ready to see what adventure comes next.
Mimi is looking for a family who would enjoy her bubbly curious personality.
She would thrive with active people who enjoy taking their dog on sniff walks, hikes, training classes, road trips, or other adventures that challenge both her mind and body. Miniature Poodles are wonderfully intelligent, and Mimi is eager to learn, engage, and be part of whatever you're doing.
That doesn't mean she's constantly "on." Mimi has a lovely off switch and is happy to curl up beside her people for a cozy evening after her needs have been met. She's simply not a couch potato—she'll be happiest with a family that enjoys an active, involved lifestyle.
