When they're this tasty, who'd argue with that??! πŸ˜†πŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Smoked on the 270 GS over Royal Oak Charcoal natural briquettes, seasoned with Susan Manzi & Rick Manzi Spicy All Purpose Rub from Disruption Rubs, classic Cimmaron Docs rub, and glazed with Croix Valley Spicy Bourbon BBQ sauce (one of the new Foundry Sauces). Cauliflower "Mock Mac" seasoned with Spicy AP and Croix Valley Garlic Booster. Soooo good!!!

We're pretty sure we're having the best lunch in the neighborhood...!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Smoked pork Rib Tips are succulent and melt-in-your-mouth- tender. Charred broccoli is crisp and oh so delicious like this!! Fresh greens and root veggies plucked from the garden, lightly tossed in a homemade avocado crema, couldn't be any better! 2gringos Chupacabra Rubs Cajun Blend was perfect for amping up the flavor on these rib tips!! Royal Oak Charcoal all natural oak briquettes in the 270 Smokers GS made this all a breeze! And yes, the tips are the freebies when you buy full Spares and trim the rack down to St Louis style ribs! (We grilled the St Louis ribs a few days ago...they were amazing, too!)

Fellow 270 Smokers family member Brian G Roush could use your love, prayers, and support right now! Many of you recognize Brian in his classic tye-dye tshirts from his days as co-pitmaster of Grateful Que Competition BBQ Team & a KCBS Judge, well known in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond... but alas they were all out of tye-dye patterns in hospital gowns! He's recovering from a very serious run in with flesh eating bacteria that developed from a cut on his ankle in the Bahamas over a month ago. Yes, he's been in the ICU and hospital that long and is now facing many months in a rehab center. Praise the Lord he has survived this! Please help with some $ to offset his immense medical expenses if you can!

Our favorite hand-crafted smoker (a pre-production 270 MEMPHIS) found a new home today with our favorite pitmaster, Andrew Darneille of Smokecraft Championship BBQ Team! Andrew purchased his 1st Memphis from us in 2019 and when we were looking for a "forever home" for this unique smoker, he was at the top of our call list! This unit was hand-crafted by Terry West, the inventor of the 270 Smoker, back in ~2017! We've used this unit in our BBQ classes and special cooking demos, but it needs to be in the hands of someone who will use it more frequently. With a capacity for 20 large pork butts, it's perfect for the booming catering business at Smokecraft Modern Barbecue and their championship cooking team! And we retained lifetime "visiting rights" πŸ˜† ❀️ Attached pics are a few from our memory book of favorite cooking sessions in a Memphis (yes, even the cookies were smoked in the 270 Memphis!!)

Take your Catfish Tacos to a whole new level with 2gringos Chupacabra Rubs Cajun Blend!!! Woweee, that's a flavor-packed taco!!! Liberally season both sides of the Catfish filets with Cajun rub, place in a pan with half a stick of good butter, smoke over Royal Oak Charcoal natural briquettes on the 270 Smokers . (Too easy!!) Warm up a tortilla or wrap on the grill, slice up a few leftover jalapeno poppers, slather with your favorite mayo or sour cream, fresh salsa, lettuce, etc, and you are in for one mighty fine meal!! Pictures just don't do this justice!!! Alton Paris this was simply amazing!!!

Sunday is Family Day and you can bet this Jalapeno Popper Burger is the best burger in town, grilled on the over Royal Oak Charcoal natural briquettes! Fresh peppers from our Texas garden, smoked as classic poppers, bring the perfect level of heat to this grass fed, grass finished beef burger! Round it out with Pepper Jack cheese, bacon, avocado, grilled mushrooms, real mayo, homemade salsa, dill pickle slices, and Croix Valley One Rub...there's no need (or room!) for a bun!!!

Likely the highest compliment you can give to a seasoning is when the ribs are so fantastic they're all gone before you even think to take a picture!!! We paired our longtime favorite Ribnoxious by 2 Gringos Chupacabra BBQ Throw Down with Croix Valley 's new One Rub. No honey, no butter, no sauce, truly nothing but yellow mustard as a binder and these 2 rubs. Just absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Alton Paris Lu and Damon Holter ... not sure if you've ever even met but you worked magic in our smoker today!!! Thank you for all that you do to make our world delicious!!! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

We're having a tasty blast playing with this new line of sauces from Croix Valley!! Seven sauces ranging from smokey American classics to vibrant Tex-Mex flair. And at just $5.95 a bottle ($34.95 for a 7-pack!), you'll want to sn**ch these up!
We sampled the Spicy Bourbon, Sweet Peach, and Smokey Chipotle sauces with this grilled salmon tonight. All three were winners!! Later this week we'll be playing with the Midnight Molasses, Sweet Carolina Gold, Smooth Honey, and Hickory Brown Sugar sauces!
