We are excited to partner with our River Bluff High School Senior intern for their IMPACT CREW project by supporting homeless veterans. Their reason: "Our CREW is dedicated to giving back to those who gave everything for us. We are taking direct action to raise awareness and support homeless veterans in our local community."
Donations can be brought to our hospital and are needed by October 25th, including:
• Warm clothing - jackets, hoodies, pants and socks
• Non-perishable food - canned goods, pasta, rice, Pop-Tarts and more
• Hygiene items - soap, shampoo, hairbrushes, toothbrushes and other personal-care items
• Men's and women's underwear • Shoes - commonly needed in sizes 8–13
• Backpacks • Towels and washcloths • Sleeping bags, pillows and blankets

Because when we come together, we don't just collect donations. We teach our students the importance of giving back, we support a young person pursuing their education, and we show our veterans that their service and sacrifice still matter.

It's that time of year & Halloween decorations can be tempting for curious pets. Keep festive items out of reach, choose pet-safe decorations, and make sure all treats are safely stored away.
🕸️ Fake Spider Webs can cause choking or intestinal obstruction if ingested & may become tangled around legs, tails, or necks.
🍫 Halloween Chocolate is toxic & Sugar-free candies and gum containing xylitol can be extremely dangerous for dogs.
🌽 Decorative Corn & Corn Cobs are a common cause of intestinal blockages in dogs.
🕷️Items like small decorative pieces can become choking hazards and intestinal blockages .
