As the season slows down and the weather gets cooler, our Seedleaf gardens are getting ready for their winter slumber. But right now there are still a few treats for you to pick: Our persimmons at the Castlewood Park Orchard, the London Ferrill Community Garden and the North Pole Community Garden are dropping! Our okra is still producing, and there are some carrots and peppers ready to go home too.

Wanting some fall squash? Needing some natural chemical free peppers? Come to the Lexington farmers market this Sunday from 10am-2pm! Come and see our: Pumpkins, Baby Butternut Squash, poblano peppers, bell peppers, and more! The little hungry guy on our squash approves.

Give a BIG thanks to our volunteers, this past growing season was a huge success! Join us on October 24th at London Ferril Community Garden to celebrate our efforts together and complete some final tasks in the garden.

We had a fun field trip on the farm last week with George Washington Carver STEM Academy 😊 a huge THANK YOU to Mr. Travis from The Happy Farmer who brought his lovely hen to hang out with us 🐓☀️🤍 we love partnering with our community and sharing the special moments Headwater Farm has to offer.
