Mossy Cottage Junebug 🍃🐞

I’ve decided I want to get better at actually enjoying the season I’m in instead of constantly waiting for the next thing. The next litter, the next project, the next season, the next whatever.

Because somehow you blink and the tiny kitten you were staring at every five minutes has grown up, summer is almost over, and all those completely ordinary days you didn’t think twice about are the ones you end up missing.

So lately I’ve been trying to notice them a little more. The open windows. The garden that desperately needs weeded. The sound of everyone running around the house. And little Junebug, who currently has absolutely no idea she’s part of a season I already know I’m going to miss. 🌿🤎

I’m so incredibly excited to see how this boy develops. He has the most charismatic, larger-than-life personality and I just adore him. Soon he’ll be off to Europe to my mentor for his next chapter, but for now I’m soaking up every bit of him while he’s still mine. 🖤

I have a feeling this boy is going to be something really special.🥹🖤
