You can't buy love, but you can rescue it.

In service of domestic animals in South Carolina, Frisky Business Rescue is a no-kill rescue that provides vital resources such as veterinary care, birthing assistance, medication, and rehoming or safe release (TNR) to the most vulnerable animals in the region. We specialize in animals with special circumstances that come from various backgrounds, including animal hoarding and abusive situations but primarily focus on vulnerable kittens, puppies, and pregnant/nursing dogs and cats. Before rehoming, we carefully screen new potential families to ensure the needs of our animals are met and that new homes will become furever homes.

🐾🖤 Meet Keys – The Curious Little Shadow! 🖤🐾

📍 Location: Lexington, SC

🐱 Name: Keys
🎂 Age: ~3 months (DOB ~7/21/26)
🐾 Breed: DSH to DMH – solid black
⚖️ Weight: ~2 lbs
♂️ Male

🩺 Neutered, microchipped, dewormed & UTD on flea and heartworm prevention; has had 3 rounds of FVRCP.

🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything he’s met so far!

⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: None known.

🏡 Reason for rehoming: Keys was originally found as a stray and ended up at Animal Control. We pulled him to help reduce overcrowding and give him a chance at finding his forever home.

🥰 Personality:
Keys is a VERY friendly little guy who knows no stranger! 🖤 He has no problems being held, although he is definitely a wiggle worm when there are things to explore. 😂

And boy, does this kitten LOVE to explore! He is adventurous, curious, incredibly nosy, and wants to investigate absolutely everything. If there is something happening, Keys is probably going to be right in the middle of it. 👀🐾

He especially loves climbing and exploring, so his ideal home will appreciate having a tiny black shadow following them around and investigating their entire existence. 😂

If you're looking for a confident, outgoing little guy with plenty of curiosity and kitten energy, Keys might be your perfect match! 🖤

📩 Message/email if interested! Please include Keys' name in your message, as I have a lot of rescue animals currently looking for homes.

🐾💙 Meet Beauty – A Little Seal Point Sweetheart! 💙🐾

📍 Location: Lexington, SC

🐱 Name: Beauty
🎂 Age: ~8–12 months
🐾 Breed: DSH / Siamese – Seal Point
⚖️ Weight: ~4 lbs
♀️ Female

🩺 Spayed; UTD on Rabies & FVRCP; dewormed, microchipped & UTD on flea prevention.

🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything she’s met so far!

⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: Beauty is currently a little underweight at a BCS of 3/9, but she just needs some time and good nutrition to get back up to a healthy weight. No other known issues.

🏡 Reason for rehoming: Beauty was surrendered to Animal Control by her owner. We pulled her to help get them back under capacity and give her a chance at finding a home.

🥰 Personality:
Beauty is a very sweet, friendly little girl who is happy to receive attention but also perfectly content doing her own thing. 💕 She has no problems being held and will sometimes seek you out for attention herself.

If she's not actively asking for attention, don't take it personally! 😂 She's still perfectly happy when you go looking for her and give her some love.

She's also been wonderfully easygoing with the other animals she's met. She hasn't been hissy, grumpy, or bothered by them, making her a very nice all-around girl.

Beauty may be a little petite right now, but she's got plenty of personality packed into that tiny 4-lb body! 💙🐾

PENDING

🐶💛 Meet Sadie – Your Adventure Buddy & Professional Cuddlebug! 💛🐶

📍 Location: Lexington, SC

🐾 Name: Sadie
🎂 Age: ~3.5 years (DOB: ~12/1/22)
🐕 Breed: Beagle Mix
⚖️ Weight: 35 lbs (a little extra fluff around the middle!)
♀️ Female

🩺 Spayed, microchipped & dewormed; UTD on DHLPP, Rabies & Bordetella; heartworm negative and UTD on flea & heartworm prevention.

🐶🐱👧 Good with dogs, cats & kids: Good with everything she’s met so far! I was told Sadie wasn't good with cats, but I haven't had any issues with her around them. She may bark at cats on the other side of a fence, but she hasn't shown that same behavior when they're actually near her.

⚠️ Aggression or medical issues?: Sadie can be protective of her dog food around other dogs, so she eats in her crate. She does great with this setup!

🏡 Reason for rehoming: Owner surrender.

🏠 House/crate trained: Yes! No issues so far.

🥰 Personality:
Sadie is SUPER friendly and truly knows no stranger! 💛 She's the kind of girl who makes herself right at home, whether she's joining you for a car ride, heading out for a walk, or curling up for some cuddle time.

She walks nicely on a leash, loves car rides, and doesn't destroy her toys. She's got a nice medium energy level: she needs daily exercise and playtime, but she's also happy to lounge around and snuggle afterward. Just don't expect her to be a couch potato 24/7! 😂

Sadie has a little extra fluff, but she doesn't need professional grooming. Regular brushing and some occasional foot trimming should keep her looking her best. 🐾

If you're looking for a friendly, easygoing companion who's up for adventures but also appreciates a good cuddle session, Sadie could be your girl! 💕

📩 Message/email if interested! Please include Sadie's name in your message, as I have a lot of rescue animals currently looking for homes.

🏡 Adoption application & contract required to ensure a good home.

Sally is the MOST sociable kitten in her litter, and she makes sure you know it! 😂 The second I open their cage, she’s climbing straight onto me. Forget personal space — Sally wants to be part of whatever you’re doing!

She absolutely LOVES to climb and especially enjoys perching on your shoulder like a tiny tortie parrot. 🦜🐈 She’s incredibly friendly, confident, curious, and always ready to explore.

She’s also completely addicted to wet food, so snacks are definitely the way to her heart! 🍽️💕 She has no problems being held, but don’t be surprised if she decides your shoulder is her favorite place to hang out.

🐾 Buzzer — Looking for His Forever Home! 🐾
📍 Lexington, SC
🐶 Name: Buzzer
🎂 Age: ~3 years (~DOB: 9/16/25)
🐾 Breed: Best guess Shorkie (Shih Tzu x Yorkie) — 14 lbs but built SOLID 😂
💙 Male
💉 Neutered & Fully Vetted:
Neutered, UTD on rabies, DHPP & Bordetella, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and UTD on heartworm & flea prevention.
🐕 Good with dogs, cats & kids:
Good with everything he has formally met!
🩺 Aggression/medical issues: None known.
🏠 House/crate trained: Yes!
💕 Personality:
This little guy may be tiny and full grown, but he has A LOT of energy! He's a little calmer than his brother Slider, but don't mistake that for lazy. 😂 Walks alone aren't going to be enough for Buzzer. He needs a doggy friend to play with, a yard, and/or easy access to a dog park where he can really burn off his energy. Otherwise, you're likely to end up with a very creative little menace. 😅
😁 Always smiling thanks to his adorable underbite
🐕 Loves playing with other dogs
💨 High energy
❤️ Loves being held
🛋️ Will happily cuddle once he finally settles down
🛁 Did great for grooming!
Buzzer came into Animal Control with Slider, who we assume may be his brother. They do great together, but they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together.
That said, if you're looking for two tiny, goofy, energetic best buddies, they would make a pretty hilarious pair! 😂
📩 Interested? Message/email and please include Buzzer's name since I’m helping multiple rescue animals find homes.
✅ Adoption application & contract required.
