I seen someone else do this trend and we wanted to join! Fostering is near and dear to us in our efforts to help dogs and people live better together. We helped touch the lives of these dogs in a big way and it’s something we will always be proud of and continue to do! A huge thank you to the rescues out there that trust us in their process to connecting these dogs to their forever homes, they are the true hero’s!

Our foster boy Diego, through Arrow Rescue, is loving his new life! So happy for him and his new family who opened their hearts after recently loosing their heart dog yo old age.

Our small friend Fraiser needed some big help! He lacked confidence in the world and also had a “don’t bother me” attitude at times. This is a dangerous combo that turns into fear biting and answering ‘problems’ with teeth! This is not only dangerous but also an awful state of mind to be in long term.

With lots of time, a tailored program to him that wasn’t just having him sit and down, and showing him we are friends simply asking for things, Fraiser has made a great turn around in our behavior mod board & train. There’s still work to do and daily changes being made but he is already much more happy with clear instruction! Make us proud Fraiser!

Rest easy buddy

We want to say goodbye to retired K-9 Vic, who passed away earlier this week.

K-9 Vic joined the Lexington Police Department in 2014 and worked as a patrol & narcotics detection canine. During his career, he worked with several handlers, and as one of them mentioned, “K-9 Vic was the best canine I’ve worked with and helped the department in numerous investigations.”

Vic officially retired in 2021 due to medical reasons and went to live with one of his former handlers.

We want to thank K-9 Vic for his service to our community. He will be missed.
