Training shouldn’t only work in a quiet room—it should prepare your dog for real life. 🐾

In this drill, one handler and dog weave through multiple other teams while staying in heel. The goal is for the dog to stay engaged with their handler instead of fixating on the dogs around them.

This translates directly to everyday situations like passing another dog on a sidewalk, walking through a crowded park, navigating a farmers market, entering a pet-friendly store, or moving through a busy vet lobby.

Your dog doesn’t need to greet every dog they see. They need to learn how to calmly pass by, stay focused, and keep moving with you.

We practice the situation in training so it feels familiar when it happens in real life!
