You’ll never convince me that watching a puppy you bred prance around the ring, knowing what *might* be standing in front of you, is the best part.

You’ll never convince me that the hours spent studying pedigrees, researching bloodlines, and carefully planning the perfect pairing are the best part.

You’ll never convince me that puppy breath is the best part.

You’ll never convince me that sitting there, exhausted and emotional, watching those babies come into the world one by one is the best part.

You’ll never convince me that the anticipation of what the next litter might produce is the best part.

You’ll never convince me that finding the next dog who might become a cornerstone of your program is the best part.

Because as incredible as all of those moments are…

None of them compare to this.

The moment you hand someone the puppy you poured your heart, your knowledge, your time, your sleepless nights, your hopes and your dreams into…

…and you get to watch them meet their next best friend.

That moment?

THAT is the best part. ❤️

Because at the end of the day, the ribbons, titles, pedigrees, breeding plans and accomplishments are all part of the journey.

But knowing that something you brought into this world is going to become someone’s family, someone’s companion, someone’s heart dog, and a lifetime of memories…

That’s why we do it. ❤️🐾
