For the Lovers of Street Dogs is stepping up to help sponsor and cover partial spay/neuter assistance for bully breeds pulled or adopted through our Save a Pet Program! ❤️🐾 *on a case by case basis*

Whether you’re a rescue looking to pull or someone interested in adopting through Save a Pet, this is a wonderful opportunity to help one of our bully babies get OUT and into their next chapter! 🏡✨

🐾 “Are you a no-kill shelter?”

It’s a question we hear every day, and one we’re always happy to explain.

A no-kill shelter is generally defined as saving at least 90% of the animals who enter its doors. While we work toward saving every life possible, there are times when severe medical or behavioral circumstances, or a significant influx of animals from the public combined with limited placement options and nowhere else for them to go, make humane euthanasia the only responsible option.

But here’s what we really want you to know:

We LOVE putting miles on this van — especially when those miles lead to happy tails and new beginnings! 💙

Today, 9 dogs headed out to North Carolina & Virginia to start their next chapter. 🐶🏡

Transport days are always a little bittersweet — we’re going to miss those sweet faces, but we’re SO happy knowing they’re headed toward the lives they deserve. 🥹💙

So keep those wheels turning and those tails wagging! 🚐💨🐾

💜 Jezebelle’s TV debut came with a plot twist… SHE GOT ADOPTED! 🥹🐾✨

Our pretty girl found her happily ever after before her segment even aired! So while you may not get to see her looking for a home on TV, we still had to share this sweet girl and her favorite person at the shelter — Lilly! 💕🐶

Jezebelle and Lilly were quite the little duo. If Jezebelle had it her way, Lilly would have been her personal staff member, treat dispenser, cuddle buddy AND full-time best friend. 😂💜

After 157 days of waiting, Jezebelle finally got the one thing she wanted most… her very own family! 🏡💕

We’re just a little emotional over here. 🥹 But don’t worry, Jezebelle — Lilly says you can come back and visit anytime! 😉

From shelter sweetheart to forever family… now THAT’S a happy ending worth sharing! 💜🐾

🐾 **CLEAR THE SHELTERS MAY BE OVER, BUT WE’RE NOT STOPPING!** 🐾

Yesterday at 5 PM, our Clear the Shelters event came to an end, and we are SO excited to share that we had **140 ADOPTIONS throughout the month of August!** 🎉❤️

But we don’t want the momentum to slow down! Let’s keep these dogs moving into their **FOREVER HOMES!** 🏡🐶

💙 157 DAYS. AND TODAY, SHE FINALLY WENT HOME. 💙

Our sweet Jezebelle girl has officially traded her kennel for a FOREVER HOME! 🥹🐾

For 157 days, Jezebelle waited. She watched people come and go. She waited for someone to see her, choose her, and give her the life she had been waiting for.

But today… her wait is OVER. 🥹💙

Our longest-term resident has officially been ADOPTED! 🎉🐶

Jezebelle, your kennel days are behind you. No more waiting. No more wondering when your person would come.
