This was a nice way to wake up today! It’s a pretty big milestone for us here at Coffin’s Critters. This is the first female to lay for us that we produced ourselves. Monarch is one of Ed’s favorite projects so it makes it even more exciting. We won’t be producing visuals in this particular clutch but some pretty amazing hets. Stay tuned to find out more!

My mini dragon plotting world domination 😂 She may not rule the world yet but apparently she rules her home. We almost never see the male, just her on top of her cave looking menacing.

It’s Monday already, but babies make it better. Hopefully when I get home I’ll have more babies crawling out from the next clutch.

Every once in a while we have to give you peek at our other critters. We never intended to keep tarantulas. I (Kate) liked spiders a lot, but like the outdoor varieties like garden spiders and jumpers. Ed very much was not a fan at all. Then Limey gifted me a curly hair just to irritate Ed 😂 It kind of backfired and now we have 6. This one Ed actually picked out himself. I was totally shocked. I sent him over to get an enclosure from sweet Abby and he came back with this. Very fun to watch it grow and change and web.

Another update on this girl after a fresh shed. She’s so pretty. I never realized hope much I liked cypress until she popped out.

Anyone else get hit right in the feels when they see the little egg tooth on a baby? 🥺 So cute!
