We wanted to let all of our guests, clients, family, & friends that DDPC will be on indefinite hiatus for the foreseeable future. Our new home is not accommodating for more furry friends than our current crew.

We wanted to thank everyone who helped make DDPC more than a dream. It was amazing getting to spend almost every single day with your pups for the past two years and it's heartbreaking knowing we won't have any new friends for awhile.

However, the dream is not dead. DDPC will return in the future and when it does, it will be bigger and better than ever. Until then, thank you for helping make DDPC a reality and we'll be back before you know it!

We had two more special guests this past week when the Curtis Cousins came to visit! Margo and Amelia loved spending a weekend at double dog. They slept on the couch, played in the mud in the backyard, and Amelia even got to chase a rabbit!

We loved having these two goof balls over one more time and we're gonna miss they're cuddly butts. Thanks for visiting us ladies!

We want to give a huge thank you to our final DDPC guest of the season, Theo! Theo has been coming to us for over two years now and his most recent visit was his longest yet at a total of 25 days!

To clear up any confusion, we will no longer be operating in the Lexington and central Kentucky region. We've had so much fun watching all of your dogs for the past two and half years, but our pack is moving onto the next chapter in our lives.

We hope to reopen DDPC in the future once we've relocated so don't worry, there will still be plenty of cute pups blessing your social media feeds! A huge, huge thank you to everyone once again for supporting us and this little dream.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our daycare pups for the last time. We didn't get pictures of all of them this week, but we still wanted to thank all of our guests who made doggy daycare possible!

Our daycare pups gave us something to look forward to almost every weekday morning. We loved greeting them at the door and turning them loose in the backyard to go play with their friends.

We're gonna miss our daycare friends, but we know that if we reopen we'll have plenty of new friends! A huge thank you to Henley, Hank and Banks (all pictured) for joining us this week. And a extra special than you to Maple, Truly, Tulip, and Zoey who came to daycare (and didn't get their picture taken this week).

Big News: We're getting an upgrade!

DDPC has been growing like crazy over the past year and our lease is up once again. We've decided to expand the business to accommodate more pups and offer a better stay for all of them.

However, it's gonna be a little while before we're done. Because of this, we will no longer be accepting new clients and will be ceasing all operations in Lexington, KY at the end of April. We'll have a final date of service later this month. We're hoping to reopen sometime later this year, possibly before the end of summer.

A huge, huge thank you to everyone who has supported our little dream over the past two years. Caring for your dogs gave us not only a career, but a whole host of new friends to play and snuggle with. A day doesn't go by that we regret hanging out with all these wonderful pups and to say that we'll miss many of you is an understatement.

If you've visited DDPC over the past year or just dropped a pup off, you might have caught a little speckled beagle running around the compound. Tulip has been a consistent guest at double dog this entire time, visiting almost every week to play with all of her friends. She even stayed over a few nights; finding her favorite spot in the bed and burrowing under the covers before curling up into a little ball.

Tulip was always a blast to have around and we're all missing her dearly. Sunday was Tulip's last day at Double Dog. She always brought a big goofy smile to our faces and all of the pups at DDPC loved her to death.

We want to wish the best of luck to Tulip and her on mom on their new adventure and offer a thank you for all the wonderful memories we made together! ❤

Every morning we're greeted by furry faces for doggy daycare. We live our daycare guests and many of them begin to feel like part of the family. We appreciate them and their parents for making Double Dog more fun!
