Who'd like to see more Green Cheeks like this gorgeous girl, available for adoption in the future?

Show of hands (reactions will work!) on who thinks she should stay within the BetterBirbs breeding program?!?!

Her mutation: Yellowsided Dilute, its a unique characteristic for her to have developed as an individual. To have such dark "mottled" feet. Not all YS Dilute's have such dark feet. A characteristic that she could definitely pass down to her chicks someday... 🤔

*I personally LOVE the silver-grey coloring on YS dilutes heads! Absolutely stunning. Pictures truly don't even do her justice!*

Really going back & forth atm... they have literally been raised by me since before they even hatched. Also being weaned alongside cockatiels... They seriously have such an amazing personality! Want all the attention in the world! Which I know I can't currently offer at this current time unfortunately. 💔

They're the last chick that hatched from my rare pied green cheek hen Skittlez. Before her unexpectedly, and untimely sudden passing... I truly had full intentions of them never going anywhere... seeing their personality however... it really would not be fair for them to stay here with me. Just for their genetics... it's not worth it. This sweetheart really deserves a home, and family of their own. Who can snuggle & love on them all they can! 💖

I did NOT gender test them. As I was always expecting them to stay with me. Which they still just may... I however do NOT know their gender. I guess it really depends on the home who is considering adding them to their family. I just want the best for each and every one of my birds....

I can send out blood samples on Monday to check their gender. They will be officially weaned off formula in about a week or so and ready to go home then... Send us a message if you are considering adding a GREEN CHEEK conure to your family! 💕

Can you taste the rainbow?!?! I sure can hear it screaming at me for food everyday! 🤣 This is our little green cheek baby, who's been raised by hand since the moment they hatched. After their mom's sudden unexpected passing... 💔

They're getting big! Along with starting to develop all their beautiful colors! I told you they were going to be just the most gorgeous rainbow!!! 🌈

They're now 35 days old. Should be attempting to fly soon! Anybody want to guess what day they'll take their first flight???

Been procrastinating actually sending in their dna samples to the lab to check gender. They'll be staying here with me, so it's not really a huge rush to know anyways... Besides for naming purposes! 😅 I am absolutely terrible at coming up with names! If anyone has any suggestions, please share your ideas!

Part 2: Pictures are before & after feeding them... They're a Green Cheek Conure. Been raised by me since they were an egg.

Well they definitely already recognize their mama! Which Ember isn't thrilled about... Kinda wants to eat them to be honest! 😅 Keep trying to explain to her they'll be best friends someday... Unfortunately she doesn't care. Everything is only about her! 😆

I seriously can't wait to see them flying around the house together though! Making all the company scream in terror as they suddenly get landed on unexpectedly! Omg! Seriously, it never gets old... I mean, I raise birds... Do you just NOT expect a bird to potentially land on you out of nowhere in my home? 😅

Even funnier when they know they're there... and still scream in terror. Even after the 4th time they've been landed on!!! 🤣

To help keep them comfortable from their tight squeeze in the Brinsea. Into the much bigger bin in our brooder. My 5 year old daughter Saphira and I dug through all her stuffies. To find the perfect snuggle companions!

"Not fluffy, and not too big. Don't want them to accidently squish them!" I told her.

I personally think their new friends are absolutely perfect!!! 💖 *not me gushing over here. Thinking about her telling everyone how she wants to raise birdies when she grows up! 🥰*
