HOW IS CHINO STILL AVAILABLE?! 🤯🐴

We genuinely cannot believe, and honestly don’t understand, why this guy is still looking for his person!

Chino may not be the flashiest horse in the barn, and he’s not the biggest mover, but he is the BEST BOY 110% of the time. ❤️

At just 3 years old, this 16.1h gelding is the whole package!

🎉 17 HORSES ADOPTED ALREADY THIS YEAR! 🎉

When we started Abaco Thoroughbred Aftercare, we were a brand new nonprofit with a big goal: to give more retired racehorses a safe place to land and a second career.

And now, just 9 months into our journey, we’ve already adopted out 17 horses! 🐴❤️

Even more exciting… we are only 5 horses away from DOUBLING the number of horses we placed last year! 🤯

To think about how far this little nonprofit has come in such a short time is truly incredible. Every horse represents a life changed, a new beginning, and a family brought together.

Right now, our main focus is raising the remaining funds for his upcoming surgery. However, he could still find his forever home while we are raising these funds!

First turnout for Creek Valley! 🐴❤️

This handsome boy got to stretch his legs and explore one of our round pens yesterday evening, and we think he’s pretty happy to be here! 😍

Is anyone looking for a nice young horse on a budget? 👀🐴

Meet ’24 Surfer Girl Cents! This handsome guy is just 2 years old, stands 15.3 hands, and has been as sweet as can be from day one.

He never raced, but he did spend some time galloping before getting some time off. He has not been restarted. He has also just finished healing from his castration, so he’s ready to start looking toward his next chapter.

He’s currently wearing hoof boots (thanks to Marcus Floyd and Equine Fusion!) while we wait to get his front shoes back on. 🥰

He’s young, kind, and has plenty of potential for someone looking for a nice horse to bring along without breaking the bank.
