Wow looks like Ikigai Inu is way over due for an update, you could say I’ve been distracted (iykyk). Since October 2025 Stark has continued to strut his stuff in the show ring. See his photo for all his accolades.

Back in May we welcomed Absolute Southern Breeze at Ikigai “Zephyr” to the family. Zephyr started showing in BPup in July and is already proving she is a rockstar. She is co-owned by me, Hariko Nihonken 日本犬張子 & Absolute Shiba Inu. See her photo for all her accolades.

Exciting news! This morning Kobushi Shiba and Ikigai Inu welcomed Ikigai’s first litter (and our first bred-by litter) into the world. After an early morning visit to the ER vet (thankfully not a C Section. The vet was able to ease the first puppy out) Mama Saphira gave birth to 2 red girls, 1 sesame boy, and 1 black & tan boy. Both mom and puppies are all doing well. To say we are beyond thrilled and excited about this litter is an understatement.
