🧹🧹housekeeping post!

I pulled this tick off a boarding dog today. Our mild winter, combined with the recent moisture, is conducive to increased tick activity.

Please protect your pet from fleas, ticks, and lice. Ask your vet for the best advice on pest control. Thank you!!🪲

June and July weekends are really filling up! Weekends of 6/13 and 6/20 are at capacity, and all the other weekends are nearly full. We can usually get regulars in on short notice, but not dogs we don’t know! Please call 366-1494 if you have questions about boarding or daycare.

We put the ac in this week. Does anyone else feel like this might be a very hot summer?🥵
We were glad to host friends from way back…..Betty and Annie, and their little buddy Trinity. We also picked up a new bus kid for summer: big Jax! He fit right in, and he his favorite friends are Bill and Tonka!

Sorry y’all…. I have to do this post😂😂. I guess it’s part of processing graduation. 🎓🥲
12-ish years ago I left a solid, decent career to build Red Rover. I was pretty clueless how that would work. All I knew was I wanted to spend more time with my kids.
That part sure worked out. ☺️ Our last born child (and somewhat captive employee) has been comforting pets, washing dishes, driving the Bus, and just being on call ever since.

Red Rover is an awesome job. But like any job, it has its ups and downs! But getting to work with my family is truly a gift.

Happy graduation, Ali! And to all the grads! And thank you to all our customers who make this business go. 💪

Well, the sun was nice while it lasted! No one wanted to go out tonight…..I had to lead the way. It was pretty cold out! And very wet!🥶

‼️Just a reminder……we have business hours. These hours are listed on our website, on our facebook, on our building, and in our booking confirmation emails.

Our hours are designed to accommodate our customers while trying to maintain a sort of peaceful, predictable schedule for our boarding dogs, our personal lives, and our neighborhood. Please, please do not show up outside of our hours. It’s really disruptive. Also, we own a couple ankle biters who go outside during our closed hours. We do not want you getting nipped!

Occasionally we will make exceptions for neighbors, customers who live really far out (50+ miles), or regulars who have an emergency. We can’t do exceptions because you are running late or got back to town early and miss your dog. Our sustainability depends on this structure. Thank you.

CUSTOMER HOURS:
Sunday:4-6 pm
Mon-Fri: 8-10 am and 3-6 pm
Saturday: Closed

The dogs all had a nice weekend just running around and playing in the water! We watched a herd of cows go by, and of course the was quite exciting. Also everyone put some kibble on their favorite horse but no one was a winner. No one saw that long shot coming from behind to win! 🏇🏇

All in all a very nice group and a beautiful couple of days!☀️
