Mom, I need to say something before I close my eyes.
Thank you.
Thank you for every walk we took together.
Thank you for every meal, every hug, every gentle word.
Thank you for loving me through all my years.
I’m so grateful you’re here with me now.
Holding me close.
This is exactly where I want to be.
I’m not scared, Mom.
I’m just tired and ready to rest.
My body can’t go on, but my heart is overflowing.
Overflowing with love for you.
You gave me the most wonderful life.
Every day was a blessing.
I have no regrets.
So please, don’t blame yourself.
You did everything perfectly.
You loved me with your whole heart.
Now I need one last thing from you.
Keep living your life.
Keep finding joy.
Keep loving.
I’ll be in your heart always.
And you’ll be in mine.
It’s time for me to go now.
But I’m not leaving you forever.
I’m just going ahead to wait for you.
I love you more than words can say.
Thank you for being my everything, Mom.
Goodbye for now.
Until we meet again. 🐾❤️‍🩹
