We are on our way home from the vet and little Miss Gravy has open pyometra, which can be life-threatening and is an infection in the uterus so fertility can be affected also. I caught it extremely early, so I’m hoping that everything clears up with antibiotics and she will still be able to have some babies in the future but as far as this next heat, we will not be breeding her like we had planned. First and foremost these girls are my babies and her being healthy is my number one priority.  A little prayer for her wouldn’t hurt. Those of you that were waiting and hoping for a baby from her we’re going to have to wait another six months.
