The insulation is completely done (thankfully! Such a gross job and I only did 1 piece) a couple more walls painted. I know they'll need touch ups but at least I won't have to paint everything at once. There's a little preview of the walls and floor together. Now I get to go to menard's. Again. And again....

John put up insulation all morning and I painted the trim black. It was hard to tell but it was actually blue. I like blue just not that blue! So it will have a more classic look on the outside but I'm sure I can make the inside a little more fun or weird depending on your taste!

I hit my first snag today. I had to pick up my special order LVP that was going on the wall behind the tub. It's supposed to be herringbone. It's labeled herringbone. It's clearly not herringbone. *sigh*
So now what?
*edit* you read the instructions, it's not printed herringbone, it's an installation technique. One that will probably require more math than I care for. So home depot was right. I'm just dumb

Yesterday he got a bathroom framed in and today he put the mini split unit on and other framing related things and now he's switching the 100 amp box for a 200. I like my electricity! None of the fun pretty stuff yet but closer!

The tub is here (ish). They sent a full size semi not a "residential truck" like the lady said on the phone. Replacement clippers are here too! It's just like Christmas if all you wanted was to replace everything you didn't think you'd have to replace again.
