🐾🙌We are incredibly grateful for the PAWS Training Program and our partnership with PAWS Orofino! This program continues to make an impact for both humans & shelter dogs! Thank you to each of the trainers who work intensively to prepare and transform the rescue dogs, building confidence, trust and essential skills.🐾🙌🐕‍🦺🫶

🙌Huge shout-out to Blair, LCAS Behavioral Manager who continues to lead, establishing individual care plans for the shelter dogs. It is a task that requires patience, empathy, strength and perseverance. 🐾We are their voice! All for the paws! 🐾

Thank you for the continued support of this amazing program! 🫶🐕‍🦺🙌 https://lcshelter.org/paws-program/

🐾🍂As the leaves fall, give a shelter animal a new place to rest. 🍂🐾

We are in need of new Kuranda ShelterBeds!
*Most of our beds are 10 years+ old.

Our goal is to provide every animal in our care a comfortable, clean and safe resting place with Kuranda ShelterBeds! These beds allow animals to feel at ease while they await their forever homes. ShelterBeds offers all Wish List items at a special donation rate. We have specifically chosen the items on our Wish List that work best for us!

Your donation will ship directly to our group and you will receive tracking information to confirm your donation has made it to us.

😻Why Kuranda beds specifically?

🐾Kuranda Beds are the superior choice in shelters and rescues due to their durability and the added protection of a 1-Year Chew Proof Warranty.
🐾Shelters prefer Kuranda beds because they are easy to clean and sanitize, minimizing the spread of infectious diseases.
🐾The elevated sleeping surface helps regulate body temperature, both in warmer and cooler climates.
🐾The orthopedic design alleviates pressure points on joints.
🐾Quality sleep reduces stress which keeps animals healthy and feeling good while they are in our care.
🐾Beds can be used for place training to help socialize dogs and improve their chance of adoption.
🐾Kuranda is a small, family-owned company. Their beds are made in the USA, just outside of Baltimore, Maryland.
🐾You can even add a personalized note to your donation AND dedicate your donation with a Tribute Card.

Thank you so much for helping make the animals in our care as comfortable and safe as possible. We appreciate you!

Sometimes playgroup at the shelter looks a little more like nap time and resting in the fall sunshine. 😴🍂🐕

Four PAWS graduates are back at the shelter ready for their forever homes. They are all house trained, crate trained, and very dog friendly. 🙌🐾

Come out to the shelter any time to meet them! They are so excited to show off their new found skills!🐶

📢And the dna results are in for these little babies......🐕🩷📋😻

🐾They are mixed breed puppies that were born in our care at the end of August. These sweet kids are now looking for their forever homes. They will be ready to go home the week of October 22nd, perfect addition for the holidays! This litter of pups has already been socialized with other dogs, cats, and kids. Their mom is about 40 lbs and looks like a chocolate lab mix.
