I am starting to open up my books for scheduling!

I will be returning to work November 9th, we are very excited to have some new things in development that we will be revealing VERY soon, so stay tuned for some updates!

My schedule will be changing a bit to accommodate a daycare drop off & pickup.

🐾This now means that when I contact for pickup, your pups MUST be picked up ASAP or we will have to accrue a daycare fee unless we have already arranged an extended stay for them.

🐾All walk in nail trims will now need to be by appointment only.

🐾I can no longer accommodate early drop offs unless again we have already arranged it.

Text or message me so we can get you back on the books for grooming! Please be patient with me if it takes me a second to get back to you as I work through getting everyone scheduled.

We have missed you so much and while I have enjoyed my baby-cation I am very excited to get to see and love on my pups again!

This is a post we have long since dreaded making. Today we said goodbye to the dog that started it all for us.

We had a day full of ice cream, cheeseburgers, steak, and chocolate. Spent the afternoon at the park watching the ducks, getting some snuggles, and saying our goodbyes.

Reaper is the reason we fell in love with retriever training, and the reason we do this for a living. Reaper and Parker travelled thousands of miles together across the United States and Canada. By the end of his career Reaper had retrieved over 20,000 birds before we finally just stopped keeping track. Through freezing water, tall grass, flooded timber, grain fields, the ocean, and mud; Reaper did it all with a tail wagging the entire way and always looking to the horizon for his next mark.

Reaper is the reason we got together, the reason we started our business, and the dog that gave us both the drive to compete and train other retrievers. Reaper was the first dog Parker ever titled, and the reason he went into a career of training retrievers. He retrieved Ashlee’s first duck, was the first dog she learned the basics of retrieving, and the first dog we have ever retired.

He truly was the dog that started it all for us. He was with us on our first date, when we got engaged, when we got married, the first dog in when we bought our house, and the first to meet our son when we brought home our first baby.

Truthfully it’s hard to find the words to describe how deeply the loss of our best friend truly goes.

Thank you for every mile, every hunt, every retrieve, every snuggle, and every moment that we had.

We’ll see you at the gate with a sh***un, ready for the next hunt. Rest easy to the best boy, you have earned it.

We love you and will miss you dearly Reap.

A big happy 3️⃣rd birthday to our foster fail, our pretty boy Abraxos 🐉

The best impulse decision we’ve ever made, was bringing home this wormy, feral little pup to foster and ultimately deciding we couldn’t be without him.

Reaper has taken his guard dog duty very seriously, and is never far from little CB. He followed mom room to room the entire pregnancy, and has since traded off for little man after his arrival. No matter where baby is, Reaper is never far away keeping an eye on things.

Twenty-five years ago, our world changed forever. On September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent lives were lost, countless families were forever changed, and a nation came together through unimaginable grief.

Today, we remember those who never came home, honor the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, and recognize the strength and resilience shown by survivors, families, and communities across our country.

As the years pass, we must never let the memories fade. The stories of bravery, sacrifice, compassion, and unity continue to remind us of what it means to stand together in the face of tragedy.

On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, may we pause to reflect, offer our prayers to the families who still carry this loss, and renew our commitment to kindness, service, and never forgetting those whose lives were taken too soon.

We will always remember. 🇺🇸

Colter Blake Clemens made his grand entrance into the world on Labor Day! 38 weeks and 5 days, and he decided he was ready! Ash’s water broke Sunday night and he was delivered via emergency c-section Monday morning at 11:31 am! Both mom & baby are doing great and have been recovering well while soaking up these first moments together.

We will be taking our leave, but will be planning to return in November. We will still be reachable by message & phone but it may take us some time to get back to you as we find a new work/life balance as a family.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone as these last few weeks of the pregnancy have been very touch and go, and we appreciate everyone’s ability to be flexible as appointment times took longer or needed to reschedule.

We will still continue to post as we have things going on, but keep an eye out for our official return date as we get closer to the end of our baby moon🩵💙
