Training your dog to stay on the grooming table until released is great…
Unless you forget to release them. 😅
I did Madison’s nails, gave her a treat on the table so the other dog wouldn’t steal it, and left the room.
Thirty minutes later I realized I hadn’t seen her.
Came back to this poor girl still sitting on the table looking absolutely pitiful but following directions like the world’s most obedient dog. 🐾

Please tell me your funniest dog parent mistakes so I know I’m not alone. 😂

Hi everyone! I figured it was time to introduce the face behind the camera. My name is Rose Meyer. 🐾
I’m a Camas Prairie local and grew up between Elk City and Grangeville. I’ve worked on and off as a veterinary assistant for the past 10 years and showed my first dog Mollie in dog shows, so animals have always been a big part of my life. Grooming has been a dream of mine for quite some time, and this is my first small step toward becoming the groomer I hope to be someday. My goal is to attend grooming school in Boise in the next few years to gain more hands-on experience and certification.
When I’m not covered in dog hair or bath water, you’ll probably find me hiking, camping, or at dog shows with my two dogs—Madison (Border Collie mix) and Maggie (Pitty mix-will be attending her first show this year).
My husband and I have been together for six years, and he’s been my biggest supporter in this adventure.
I’m really excited to meet more people in the community and take care of your furry pups along the way.

Nothing better than a fresh bath and a happy pup. 🐾
This handsome boy stopped by this evening for the full package — wash, blow dry, brush, and nail trim. He was such a good boy in the bath and almost dozed off during the dryer. 🐾 Thank you to his owners for trusting me with their sweet pup!

Nothing fancy—just humble beginnings, hard work, and a whole lot of love for dogs.

This little setup in my home is where I’m starting. My goal is simple: create a calm, one-on-one space where dogs can come in muddy, shedding, or overdue for a bath and leave clean, comfortable, and cared for.

Right now I’m keeping things small and only setting aside a few hours each week, taking just a couple appointments so every pup gets the time and attention they deserve.

Thank you to everyone who supports small, local beginnings like this. 🐾

Grangeville friends 🐾
I’m offering simple, low-stress dog baths from home — just bath, blow dry, brush, and nail trims. Nothing fancy, just gentle care in a calm environment.
To keep it relaxed and manageable, I’ll only be taking a couple appointments a week so each pup gets one-on-one attention. Dogs under 100 lbs only. Must be current on rabies and bordetella vaccines — and no fleas please.
