🐴How disappointing when you go to ride your horse and he has an abscess 😭

Soaking in hot epsom salt helps draw out that stinky infection. 🤢 Gerald is a great patient and stands very nicely for a good soak. At least I get to look at a pretty horse 😍

🐎 Get Gerald ready to ride with me.

I'll be honest when I was a teenager dreaming of owning my own barn, I thought I would simply ride all day.....thats not the reality of my job. There is soooo much to do as a barn owner and instructor. Gerald is my horse. I love riding him, but finding the time for him is hard. By the time I get everyone fed, doctored, lessons taught, and lesson horses tuned, he is last on the list. He's a great guy even if he doesn't get ridden as much as he would have when I was 16. Teenage me rode 8 days a week a few hours a day.....not even joking.🤣 Thankfully, adult me is a better rider, and I can still move a horses training forward. Gerald being a team player is helpful as well. ❤️

✨️HORSE IN THE SPOTLIGHT✨️

🦄 Bindi 🦄

Bindi has it ALL. She has brains 🧠 and beauty 💅. She has curves in all the right places. Not to mention, she is the friendliest mare I have ever met. If you give her a good neck scratch, she will probably give you a scratch back. She loves to canter and hang out with her friend Dixie outside. But she is a princess and enjoys a winter blanket and her outside house (a run-in shed). The whole red mare thing is a myth! We LOVE Bindi and are lucky to own her as a lesson horse.

Post your favorite pictures of Bindi below 📸
