RE: THE ABSURD DELAY IN MY ADOPTION
Dear Humans,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the ongoing failure to secure my forever home.
Let me begin by saying: THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. 🙄
I am approximately 10 years old, 11 pounds, potty trained, sleep quietly in my kennel, enjoy walks, car rides, zoomies, dog friends, and being fabulous.
And yet somehow…
I AM STILL WAITING.
I even had some interest in a forever home recently! For a brief moment, I thought, “FINALLY! Someone has realized they desperately need a Bubbles in their life.”
But apparently not.
Because here I am.
Still.
Waiting.
Clearly, there has been a serious administrative error. 📋
Now, I have heard there may be some concern about my personality.
Excuse me?
Yes, I like things on my terms.
WHO DOESN’T?!
If I want belly rubs, I will let you know. If I have had enough belly rubs, I will ALSO let you know.
This is called BOUNDARIES.
You humans are always talking about boundaries, and then when I enforce mine, suddenly I’m “a little grouchy.” 🙄
Unbelievable.
I am not difficult.
I am a senior lady with standards. 💅
I don’t want every stranger touching me, and I don’t immediately trust everyone I meet. Occasionally, I may give you a look that makes you reconsider your life choices.
But once I decide you’re MY person?
You get the good Bubbles. ❤️
The companionship. The zoomies. The adorable face. And, naturally, my highly valued opinions. 😂
I need someone who respects my boundaries, appreciates a little sass, and looks at an older, quirky girl and says, “Yep. She’s perfect.”
Because let’s be honest…
I’M 11 POUNDS OF PERSONALITY.
And I am POTTY TRAINED, which apparently humans consider a huge selling point. You’re welcome. ✔️
So I am officially requesting that my forever-home search be EXPEDITED IMMEDIATELY.
