We offer all the above training for ages 6yrs old and Up.

If you have a youngster under 5yrs old who loves horses as well but they are too young to do lessons we also offer horse and Pony rides for $1 a minute

I am so proud of this girl! She is willing to learn so much that she actually put driving to the test. She was actually very light on Diamond and both did amazing!

Kadence has been doing a lot of ground work training with me lately! She’s learning ground driving now.
It’s a tough concept to learn pressure and release. She’s honestly way more light than she should be but Diamond was an Angel for her and so was Gigi!

It’s that time of year again we’re all excited for!

Horses typically shed their coats twice a year, once in the spring and again in the autumn (fall). These seasonal sheds allow them to transition between a thick winter coat and a thin, sleek summer coat based on changes in daylight (photoperiodism), rather than just temperature.

Spring Shed: As daylight hours increase, horses shed their heavy winter coat to prevent overheating.

Autumn/Fall Shed: As daylight hours decrease, they shed their light summer coat to grow a thicker, protective coat for winter.

Trigger: The primary driver is changing daylight, which signals the pituitary gland to release hormones, though temperature also plays a minor role.

Duration: The process often takes six to eight weeks, leaving them itchy as the new coat grows in.

While shedding is continuous at a low level, these two main cycles are the primary shedding events. Factors like age, health, and breed can influence the speed and timing.

Lesson was pretty fun today! The hills are super green and there’s water the horses can almost swim in! They were loving it!

A few weekends ago we were part of the Lazy T Ranch Cherry Parade! The theme was “Cherry Trees and Honey Bees”
Blue Moon and Buddy had bumble bee tails and Cherrys on their flanks.
Bella and Saphire had Cherry Blankets and Red and cold designs. Gigi and Diamond represented the bumble bees! It was a beautiful ride, a big turnout and was not too hot either!
