is working hard to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, & homeless dogs in Caldwell County, NC. We are a foster-based rescue with some of our dogs living in private homes, while others reside on-site in our Bunch Anderson Foster Suites. To adopt a dog from FCR a vet reference (active within the last 3 years) is required to ensure responsible pet ownership. ONGOING NEEDS:

1) Foster Families

Volunteers: store, on-site foster care
3) Monetary Donations
4) Foster Suit Supplies: Laundry Soap, Paper Towels, Dog Food (Purina One Lamb & Rice)

Squirrel is doing great in his foster home, but he’s still looking for a forever family to call his own 💕

He’s been soaking up the love in foster care and showing more of his sweet, loyal personality every day. Squirrel loves being close to his people and wants nothing more than to be part of the action.

Squirrel would do best with an experienced handler who can continue helping him with boundaries and play manners around other dogs. Because of his rough and tumble play style, he’d also do best in a home without small children.
