It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved clinic cat, Poppy. To our clients, she was the sophisticated greeter who may or may not have been silently judging your pet's manners from the lobby. To us, she was the heart, soul, and mischievous shadow of the hospital-though "shadow" implies she stayed out of the way which Poppy certainly did not. She was a cat of many talents and questionable life choices. An eternal optimist when it came to breaking into treat jars, a lover of plastic wrappers and a master of parkour. She famously ran the place, having successfully claimed an entire private office and staging hostile takeovers of whichever rolling chair was closest to the front desk. She loved to observe is, critique us, and interrupt us. The clinic is far too lonely without her. Rest in peace, Poppy. Thank you for keeping us on our toes and letting us share your hospital.
