Bark friends,
I’m experiencing joint issues, especially in my hands. My knuckles began swelling and becoming painful in May. I was hoping to make it to my appointment with a rheumatologist at the end of the month before making any changes at the clinic.😔
Unfortunately, I am now referring out surgeries that require more strength or finesse.
Crago Vet on West Boulevard has kindly accepted my more involved surgeries and I appreciate it tremendously.🫶🏼

You may notice our appointments flow a little differently as I can’t be as hands on (😉🥴) as I usually am while I let my knuckles rest.

We will continue to do our work in the exam rooms, but you may see me looking for more help from my techs and assistants.
We will still do most our appointments on the floor but I may end up using the tables more for the smaller pets depending on how this progresses. I know many of you scold us daily for spending the appointment on the floor, but that’s a tough habit to change after all these years!

Hopefully answers and treatment provide relief soon.

As always, I am so grateful for your support and understanding. We will adapt and overcome and continue to provide our best care to you and your pets.💙🐾

Bark friends, we had to say goodbye to our big girl, Lilly, last night. She was 11.5 years old and struggling with cancer.😭
She and Maeve have been best friends since the day Maeve was born.❤️

Our hearts are broken and I can’t talk about her without crying. Excuse me if I’m emotional.
She used to come to the clinic with me every Tuesday & Thursday to keep our receptionist company when I did house calls. If love could have saved her she’d have lived forever.💔🐾
