Bark friends, we had to say goodbye to our big girl, Lilly, last night. She was 11.5 years old and struggling with cancer.😭
She and Maeve have been best friends since the day Maeve was born.❤️

Our hearts are broken and I can’t talk about her without crying. Excuse me if I’m emotional.
She used to come to the clinic with me every Tuesday & Thursday to keep our receptionist company when I did house calls. If love could have saved her she’d have lived forever.💔🐾

Bark friends, we are looking for a vet assistant.
The right candidate will have the type of personality that has clients asking for them specifically. Must be kind, responsible, and a great team player.

We are a Fear free/low-stress handling clinic and will pay for certification.
Benefits include discounts, paid time off after 90 days, uniform allowance, and a very supportive atmosphere.
We don’t do drama and we fire mean clients.
Experience is preferred but we are willing to train a friendly, hard-working, eager to learn candidate.
The position entails assisting the team with appointments, patient handling, client education, and cleaning.
Must be able to team lift big patients and learn our Covetrus practice management software.

Bark friends, another summer comes to an end and I’m losing my not so “little helper”, Maeve.

She so enjoyed visiting with clients, helping get weights and histories, and loving on the patients. We’re taking bets if she’ll be as tall as me next summer.😆
I included pictures from this summer and a couple from 8 years ago. We’ve been so fortunate to have so many clients who remember me pregnant and have been here through all of Maeve’s life. Thank you for your kindness and support!💙🐾

We had a very special helper with us! Maeve, Dr. O’Donnell’s daughter, spent some time helping with appointments and made a new fluffy friend—Koda James, a 17-week-old Great Pyrenees! 🤍

Already weighing 52.9 pounds, Koda James was the sweetest patient, and his favorite part of the visit? Cheese!🧀🐶

Say hello to Mushroom, an adorable 16-week-old Cavapoo! 🖤🤍 This sweet little pup was all tail wags and puppy-dog eyes during their visit. We loved getting to meet this precious baby and can’t wait to watch Mushroom grow!

Bark friends, I’ll be out of the office a few days next week visiting family.💗🌴
Our clinic hours will be adjusted July 29-31 and August 3rd.
We’ll be open for tech visits and med pickups Wednesday 12-4pm, Thursday, 8-12pm, closed Friday, and open Monday 8-2pm.

I apologize for some wonky hours lately and I really appreciate your flexibility.
You’ve all shared such important parts of your life with me, which means the world to me.❤️
So I’ll tell you it’s not all sunshine and rainbows between dealing with some health issues, an ongoing divorce trial, and trying to establish a healthier work-life balance as a solo parent.🥴🫶🏼

As always, I truly appreciate your support and understanding (more than ever)! Believe me when I say most of my recent time away I would prefer to be at the clinic with all y’all!💙🐾
