Baby Mustang weeks 2 and 3:
He still doesn’t have a name, but I want to get to know him a little first once I can work with him more directly to pick the best one!
He knows people and looks forward to visits and snacks 😊
He also now knows a bucket and will eat comfortably out of it while someone holds it in their lap.
He loves to sniff people’s faces and chew inches from their face and drip his feed all over us 😆
He is comfortable with being approached and pet on his muzzle, and he is getting better and better about us working our way up his blaze and to his cheeks for scratches!
He is the sweetest, most lovely little baby horse, and I am so excited he loves all the kids and the kids love him!

Regionals 2026

It’s so fun to look back just one year ago to see the growth in these girls and their horses!
Such a fun and successful weekend with great horses, great kids, amazing and supportive moms, great weather, great lessons, and lots of hard work put in by all to make it this way.
Thank you to everyone involved!!

Baby Mustang LOVES games and learning about/exploring new things!
This has been such a cool experience.
One week and two days since he arrived, and he is already very comfortable with all of the things going on here. He knows his feed pan, and that the Ranger brings his feed, of course.
He has learned how to use a hay net, and also enjoys playing in his water trough, meeting new horses, and observing the kids ride!
Very much looking forward to where this next week’s sessions will get us!

Welcome to the farm, baby mustang!
It has been a longtime dream of mine to have my students learn about the gentling/breaking/training process of a horse, and to participate in the process.
Such good knowledge to pass on to younger generations, and what an opportunity to create the best little horse!
He is 2, from Clover Mountains in Nevada, and is so curious and sweet. I am so excited!!
