An alligator attacked this Yorkie this week in Englewood. The poor dog has broken ribs and collapsed lungs, but she is expected to survive. Please do not let your pets get close to lakes or ponds in Florida. We're speaking with the dog's owner tonight at 11 on Gulf Coast News.

Please spread the word for this lost dog by sharing this post.

💬 Owner's Message: "If you find her she usually comes to Roxy, Roxabella, pretty girl or Bella Bella. She’s the sweetest little girl but she doesn’t know the area well because my mom was watching her and she’s about half an hour from her home. Where she was last seen there’s many different directions she could have gone so we aren’t sure exactly what area she’s in now and it’s been 2 1/2 hours since she got out. If found please either reach out to me or to my mom June repsher @"

🐾 Description: "2 1/2 year old toy Aussie. She is not chipped. She’s super friendly but she’s terrified so she may not come up to you, she’s my sisters dog and my mom was pet sitting when she got out a hole under the fence in the backyard. She’s been missing since 11am. She’s wearing a light blue harness, not sure if there’s a tag on it or not."
