😻🐾 Meet Damon 🐾😻

Damon is once again looking for a home after a recent adoption did not work out. This is his second return, and while that may sound discouraging, we believe it simply means we haven’t found the right match for him yet.

According to his adopter, Damon had lived peacefully with the resident cat for approximately a month before suddenly beginning to chase the other cat, leading to concerns about keeping him in the home.

What we know about Damon is that he is a healthy, energetic young cat with a big personality. He enjoys staying busy, playing, exploring, and being involved in whatever is happening around him. He is not the type of cat who is content to spend all day napping on the couch!

Damon has lived around other cats in our shelter environment and is currently doing well here. While his recent adoption was not successful, many factors can influence how cats interact in a home, and it is not always possible to determine exactly what may have triggered a change in behavior. Because of that, we will discuss Damon’s history with potential adopters to help ensure the best possible match.

What Damon needs most is someone that understands young, active cats and is willing to provide plenty of playtime, enrichment, and patience as he settles into a new environment. He is a smart, engaging cat who has a lot of love and personality to offer.

Sometimes finding the right forever home takes a little longer, and that’s okay. We remain committed to finding the family that will appreciate Damon for exactly who he is.

😻🌼Meet Daisy 🌼😻

Daisy is a little over a year old and has already been through more than most cats her age. After suffering a broken leg under unknown circumstances, her leg was amputated while she was in the care of another shelter before she came to us.

Right now, Daisy is scared and unsure of her new surroundings. The shelter can be a big, overwhelming place, especially for a young cat who has experienced so much change. But even through her uncertainty, we can see a sweet girl who is trying to figure out who she can trust.

Cats are remarkably resilient, and three-legged cats often adapt incredibly well. What Daisy needs most is patience, kindness, and a chance to feel safe again.

If you’re the type of person who understands that some of the best relationships take a little time to build, Daisy may be worth meeting. We think there’s a wonderful cat hiding behind those worried eyes, just waiting for her chance to shine.

🐾😻🎉Five Happy Tails This Week! 🎉😻🐾

We’re thrilled to share that three of our adult cats and two of our kittens were adopted into loving homes!

Mickey and Miss Kitty had especially been waiting patiently for quite some time, watching other cats come and go while they hoped their turn would come. This week, it finally did.🏡

There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a cat leave shelter life behind and step into a future where they are cherished. They are all so deserving of this opportunity, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

Thank you to the adopters who opened their hearts and homes, and thank you to everyone who supports our mission. Every adoption creates space for us to help another animal in need. 💞

At only about 9 months old, Chelsea has already had a rough start after being abandoned on our property. Despite that, she has remained incredibly sweet, loving, and friendly with people.

Her striking white coat with black spots and adorable extra toes make her impossible to miss. As a polydactyl kitty, she has those extra “thumbs” that make her even more special and charming.

Now safe with us, Chelsea is ready to leave her past behind and find a family who will never leave her behind again. She deserves a home where she can grow up knowing comfort, love, and security. 🐾

This 13-year-old declawed polydactyl tabby has been through a lot of change after losing the person she called home. Despite everything, Tabitha remains incredibly sweet, loving, and happiest when she’s around people.

With her extra toes and gentle personality, she is truly one of a kind. She deserves a quiet, comfortable place where she can spend her senior years surrounded by kindness, soft beds, and people who will love her as much as she loves them.

She did have a tumor removed from her ear about a month ago and she has been doing very well since then.

Senior cats still have so much companionship and affection to give, and Tabitha is hoping for a soft place to land and a family to call her own once again. 🐾
