Aldabra tortoises are some of the largest tortoises in the world and can live well over 100 years. In fact, some have lived long enough to meet multiple generations of the same family. These gentle giants spend most of their day grazing, resting in the sun, and slowly exploring their surroundings.

Their slow pace may fool you, but they are incredibly strong and surprisingly smart.
