While we may love the fireworks, backyard BBQs, and celebrations, many of our four-legged family members do not. Loud noises can cause significant stress and anxiety for pets, leading to pacing, shaking, hiding, excessive barking, or even attempts to escape.

🐾 Meet Creamsicle & Storm! 🐾

Creamsicle (left) and Storm (right) are looking for their forever home together or separately.

🧡 Creamsicle is a sweet, playful girl who is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and current on flea prevention. She gets along well with both cats and dogs and loves to play and explore.

🩶 Storm is a handsome, affectionate boy who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and current on flea prevention. He does great with cats and dogs and is happiest when he’s curled up beside you for a cuddle.

Both are indoor cats and are ready to find a loving family to call their own. If you’re looking for a pair of wonderful companions, Creamsicle and Storm would love to meet you! ❤️🐱🐱

A few clips of some of the wildlife currently in our care. Our team does an exceptional job providing the care, patience, and attention these animals need to grow strong and healthy before being released back into their natural habitat.

With baby season in full swing, we’re seeing more orphaned and injured wildlife than ever. If you come across a baby animal, please remember that not all babies are abandoned—many parents are nearby and still caring for them. When in doubt, reach out to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for guidance.

Every animal deserves a second chance, and we’re honored to be part of their journey back to the wild. 🦌🦉🐿️❤️

Philema Animal Hospital showed up strong today in support of Kelley Brim Hollowell at the Cancer Ties, Inc. event at Chehaw Park & Zoo. We took on the 5K, the fun run, and even the beer relay—making it a full day of fun, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. More than anything, it was a beautiful reminder of what community looks like when we come together to support one another.
