All set up down at the American Royal for the MoKan Border Bonanza Arabian Horse Show. Brenna is showing Luke in 5 classes, Darlene is showing Jett in Purebred Country Pleasure Driving, and Amanda and Savannah are showing Reese in 3 ACT classes each. Unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures of our academy riders today, but they were fabulous! Reese started off feeling his oats this morning, but settled into his role and him and Amanda brought home two 1st place ribbons! Savannah and Reese had some tough competition and won two 3rd place ribbons! We’re so proud of all our riders this week and we’re looking forward to our next show in August!

Only 1 photo from yesterday, but what a great show! Darlene and Jett placed 1st and had an exuberant victory lap!
Amanda and Reese had a challenging start to their academy classes thanks to some surprise rain that popped up and placed 5th in both classes. Savannah and Reese had wonderful rides in very tough classes and placed 2nd and 4th!
Our newest riders had absolutely beautiful rides as well. Jennifer and Allie made their debut in very tough classes as well and took home 3rd and 5th! Maren and Allie finished the academy section with a 1st and 3rd at her academy debut!
Brenna and Luke finished us off in the show taking home 2nd and 3rd in the western pleasure open and Arabian western pleasure.
We’ve all learned thing we do well and things we need to work on at home and this just brought the excitement for show season to a new level!

We’re all set up here at Longview for the Greater Kansas City Arabian Horse Association Longview show! Darlene and Jett show in the morning session in Open Pleasure Driving.
Then we have our academy riders showing in the afternoon. We have Amanda on Reese showing in walk/trot/canter. Then Savannah and Reese showing in walk/trot. We’ll also have 2 new riders making their academy debut on Allie in walk/trot, Jennifer and Maren! We’re so excited for all these teams! Good luck to everyone! 🍀

Today is a day of celebration, not only for our awesome father’s, but we at SGA received our wonderful lesson horse Allie 5 years ago today!
