Always a great day when I can stop for a minute to eat some lunch and Maggie’s Mini Mart didn’t disappoint! I probably should’ve chosen the “healthier” fresh produce but I was overwhelmed by the fried chicken 🤤
Refueled and ready for some more doggies in Laverne ☺️🤍🛁🐾🚐

Update: 9/14/26 12pm CST
A friend was looking up some of the names listed and none appear to have had many living children after Solomon and Mary An had 4. This might be a futile effort and the Bible ventured to Polson Montana by coincidence rather than the Ernest family.

Original post 9/13/26
I could use your help please. I’m using my business fb page because it has a much wider reach than my personal. Can you help me find the rightful owners of this Bible?

I grew up with it in my home in Montana, my mother’s family found it abandoned in an attic of a house they lived in in Polson Montana.

I have no idea of the value of this beautiful book as I’ve never had it appraised or reviewed. It would just be nice to get it to the members of the original family. Here are some photos of specific pages that have some indication of persons of the original family. There are some pages that have been ripped out.

Solomon Ernest Bible
Lockport (?)
January the 6, 1855

Solomon Ernest was married to Mary An Singer (?) January the 1 1849 in the town of Royalton (?)
County of Niagara and the state of New York

Solomon Ernest born June 1, 1825 in the state of Pennsylvania.
Mary An Ernest born August 2, 1827 in Jineea (?) county state of New York

S. Ernest moved to York State May 1, 1830.

Assumed children of Solomon and Mary An:
Chauncey E born March 4, 1850 town of Lockport county of Niagara state of New York
Harvey L (?) born September 28 1854 in the town of Lockport county of Niagara state of New York
George B born September 23, 1862 town of Lockport County of Niagara State of New York
Two infants were listed with no names.

George Ernest died May 1 (?) 1941

Any help with this search is greatly appreciated. I’m going to set a goal of December 23, 2026 as an “end the search” day just so I can ease my mind and make plans for what to do next. Thanks all!!

Feel free to share far and wide. Can we find the family and get them this wonderful lovely and HUGE Bible??

Thank you in advance fellow hunters 😁
~ Jennifer

Edit to add: I have no idea where who when how to search. I’m not going to invest money in a program or software, nor am I going to hire somebody to do this. I’m just hoping somebody out there is smarter than me and has access to an easy Ish path so this Bible can go to the correct family.

…never forget…
Peace and love and prayers for all those who lost their lives that day, for their families, and for the many who died from the complications later. Sending prayers and love to everyone affected by September 11 including the amazing rescue dogs. 🐾🤍
