Herd dynamics are fun to observe.
Chandraki (black Friesian) was in charge most of his life until he lost his best friend Amos last spring. Within days he turned that duty over to Elton, my gray Percheron/TB cross.
We recently introduced Silverado into this field, and he has a history of being a bully.
It was fun to witness Elton putting him in his place when he tried to pass Chandraki and him coming in from the back field 🐴

We have been busy!
The addition on the sugar house is nearing completion 🍁
The pool is almost finished (and the dogs are pretty excited!) πŸ™Œ
Gardens are planted with 20 varieties of cut flowers, tomatoes, cukes, squash, beans, turnip, lettuce, swiss chard and many other yummy veggies πŸ₯•
All the beautiful flowers 🌺 have been planted
And now we put our yard back together with hydroseeding yesterday πŸ˜…
