Faith and my little Merlin. Faith loves Merlin and he loves her. I came back from shopping and I saw a big lump of blankets on my couch. I knew I had not left them there. I went to the lump and spoke and up jumps Faith. She had come in to wait for me and her and Merlin were asleep on the couch. What a surprise. ! I knew she was someplace here because her car was in my driveway but I thought she may be out in the barn with the back yard dogs. 😁🥱♥️👍🏻

Attention , please understand . We are on an intake hold . Just for a short while. I have Sophie, Daisy and Gabe all very senior dogs. Tallie and Oakley medical needs dogs. Have many medical appointments up at UF for our dogs. And we just find the need to not take any new dogs in at this time. Of course we alway consider urgent emergency situations. Which we will review. But for us to give the dogs here every opportunity to receive the very best care we can give them, it is imperative to place in Takes on hold for a short while. Please understand. Each case will be reviewed. Florida does have several other great Golden Rescues that if the need arises please consider contacting one of them too. We do work with all the rescues here in Florida. Thank you for your support and understanding.Looking forward to getting back up to full speed soon. But we house all the dogs here at my home so we do have a maximum that we can properly care for.

Tallie and Faith, Tallie is hanging strong . Blood values improving except for the kidney values. Creatine and Bun still bad but our little Miss. Tallie is fighting the good fight. Getting fluids twice a day. That seems to be helping. Love my baby girl.

My handsome boy Gabe. He is my dog. He has survived Cancer twice. Now 11-12 and doing great. His litter sister died 9 months ago. Still in touch with the folks. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😇♥️♥️

Oakley goes the 17 th for the trial. From what I read, it says a grade one or 2 murmur isn’t bad but should be checked out anything past a two. His is a three. Both Dr. Natalie and her husband agree he needs it checked. It could be SAS or a PDA . And since they are doing a trial it not only has more cardiologist working the trial but it’s cheaper because it is a trail. They read his reports from Natalie and said it could be nothing but also could be something bad. So I will have him checked out as a preventive . And Goldens and large breed dogs are prone for SAS or PDA ,they do testing for SAS and PDA at agility trials sometimes. I have had mine done there in the past. Poor boy he is a silly mess.
