Cold-Blooded Creations recently celebrated reaching 1,000 followers with a giveaway for a baby Crested Gecko.
And guess who won it?! 😂

Considering Cold-Blooded Creations is already partnering with us on this school supply drive, it felt like the universe handed us the perfect opportunity.

☀️ POSSIBLE EARLY CLOSURE TODAY ☀️

Just a heads-up to everyone: we will most likely need to close early today due to the temperature spike.

Our store has already reached 85°F and is continuing to climb quickly. While many reptiles thrive in warm temperatures, we also care for animals such as crested geckos, frogs, and other species that can become stressed or even endangered when temperatures get too high.

The health and safety of the animals in our care will always come first. ❤️🦎

We also have to consider the people who make Ramsdell's Reptile Room possible. Our volunteers and staff shouldn't be expected to work for extended periods in unsafe temperatures either.

We always try to make these decisions with both our animals and our people in mind. If the temperature continues climbing and we cannot safely keep the store cool enough, we will be closing early.

We will keep everyone updated as the afternoon goes on. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of us and the animals we love! 🦎🐸💚
