Claws & Paws Animal Adoption Center Animal Shelter. Open Monday-Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm and Saturday 12:00pm-3:30pm. We have an application for everyone who is wanting to adopt to fill out.

Lebanon Humane Society, Inc, doing business as “Claws and Paws Animal Adoption Center” is a Missouri Non-Profit Organization. Our purpose is to serve the Lebanon/Laclede County region as a limited admission animal shelter which will strive for a 100% adoption rate of shelter animals with no euthanizing for time or space. We will also work to promote humane care of companion animals and educate the community concerning pet overpopulation. All adoptions include age appropriate vaccinations and dogs are microchipped. If an animal is not already altered the spay or neuter is included in the adoption price if you schedule an appointment to bring the animal back to the shelter for our vet to do. If you choose to take the animal to your own vet, we will give you a certificate and we will cover $32.00 for dogs and $22.00 for cats. Lebanon Vets honor our certificates, but the service may be more than the certificate will cover depending on size and for pain meds. If you rent your home, we must call and verify with the landlord that you can adopt from us. As with all animals adopted here, there is a contract that states if the adopter during anytime of the animal's life can no longer care for under any reason, must return the animal to us. Animals cannot be sold, traded or given away for any reason. We also offer a 14-day return policy, so if for any reason the animal doesn't work out you can return them to us and can do an exchange for another cat or dog, one time only. The contract also states per Missouri law the animal MUST be spayed or neutered within 30 days of the adoption date (depending on age). We have been known to go and take animals back that have not been taken care of or if there is a breach of contract. We are always willing to take strays or animals that the owners can no longer car for if we have the availability. We take these animals by appointment only and as space allows. If you have any questions, please call at 417-532-9671. We also offer low-cost spay and neuter appointments for people living in the Lebanon and Laclede County areas. As well as low-cost vaccinations and $20.00 Microchipping.

🧙‍♀️🔮 IT’S JUST A BUNCH OF HOCUS POCUS! 🎃🐾

The votes are in, the spell has been cast, and we’ve officially named our newest little family! ✨

You all certainly worked your magic with the name suggestions, and after sorting through so many wonderful ideas, we couldn’t resist a little Sanderson Sisters inspiration! 🧹💜

Without further ado, allow us to introduce the newest witches of Claws & Paws!

🧡 Sandy — Our beautiful mama and the head witch of this little coven!

💜 Sarah — Our fluffy little black beauty!

💚 Mary — Our adorable black-and-tan sweetheart!

🧡 Winnie — Our chocolate-and-tan cutie!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us brainstorm names for these four magical ladies! We had so much fun reading through your suggestions, and we love getting our community involved! 🥰

Now, there’s just one more bit of magic these girls need… FOREVER HOMES! 🏡❤️

Sandy and her three little Sanderson sisters will all be looking for families to call their own. If one of these enchanting ladies has put a spell on your heart, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about them!

After all, the best kind of magic is giving a shelter animal a happily ever after! ✨🐾

🍁🐾 FOUR GIRLS, FOUR NAMES… WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐾🍂

We’ve got a little extra sweetness at Claws & Paws this fall! 🧡

Meet our newest little family — one beautiful mama and her THREE adorable girls! 🐶💕

These four are settling in, and they are almost ready to be made available for adoption, but there’s just one thing missing… NAMES!

And we thought, who better to help us name them than our wonderful Facebook community?!

🐾 One name for Mama
🐾 Three names for her little girls

Drop your best four-name combinations in the comments below! 👇

We can’t wait to see what you come up with! Who knows? Your suggestion might just become their forever names! 🧡🍁

And while we’re helping these girls find their names, we’ll also be looking for their forever homes! Mama and all three of her little ones will eventually need families to call their own. If one of these sweet faces has already caught your eye, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about them! We’d love to hear from you! ❤️🐾
