Central Texas SPCA www.CentralTexasSPCa.org. A private, no-kill adoption center, dedicated to finding forever families

We provide shelter, food, medical care, and adoption services for homeless dogs and cats. These services are funded solely by private donations and adoption fees. We receive no government funding and are not contracted as animal control with any local municipality or county. Because we have limited space, seek to provide a homelike environment to the shelter residents, and do not euthanize to make

room for new pets, we cannot accept animal drop offs. All intakes must be pre-arranged by use of our Wait List (found on our website under About Us).

Look at this face! It’s the face of pure sweetness. This gorgeous “torby” is Scarecrow and we are smitten with her. She has a tiny meow when she wants attention and she’s so loving. She gets along great with her roommate, Tin Man, and seems to like all the adults she’s met. In addition to her unique tortie + tabby markings, she’s got the cutest little bob tail. This gorgeous girl is Esky. She and her siblings were born to a feral mom in the country. Luckily, the ranch belonged to a cat loving Good Samaritan who rescued the whole family. Esky and her two sisters have been with us about 4 months. Although initially shy, all three have made great progress making friends with staff and regular volunteers. Esky loves to “ask” for pets by folding herself into a pretzel so you can easily scratch the back of her neck. She’s a playful girl who will blossom in a home where she’s given plenty of time to settle in and learn who’s who. Are you a patient person who wants to be rewarded with Esky’s affection in exchange for giving her time and love? Lickable treats will expedite the process 😉

Hola! Bon Jour! Howdy! I’m Mackie and I’m happy to meet you. I am Mr. Congeniality at the shelter. Every day, I go say hi to all the other kitties. I give off a super chill vibe and almost all the other kitties like me from the first hello. If someone hisses, I just walk away to find someone more friendly. I love toys—especially those with feathers, I love to climb tall cat towers, and enjoy lap time now and then.
