It may have taken a little longer than expected, but I couldnāt be happier with how this kitchen turned out. The transformation is absolutely stunning and completely brightened the space!
The homeowners had already installed beautiful new countertops, hoping they would be enough to achieve the light, airy kitchen they envisioned. While the countertops certainly helped, painting the cabinets was the finishing touch that truly brought their vision to life. Iād say taking that leap was well worth it!
While all of the doors and drawers were removed, the homeowners took the opportunity to completely empty every cabinet, deep clean the entire kitchen, and add new shelf liners. We also upgraded every door with new soft-close hinges and finished everything off with new hardware. Not only do handles give the kitchen a fresh, updated look, but they also help keep painted cabinets looking beautiful by reducing fingerprints on the doors. The oversized island drawers were a bit of a challenge, but adding two handles to each drawer was definitely the right choiceāthey look incredible!
I was also blessed with some of the most understanding homeowners throughout this project. Right in the middle of the job, I unexpectedly had to move out of the shop I was using and finish everything from home. Once the cabinets were home, Mother Nature had other plans with wind, rain, and high humidity. Rather than rush the process, I allowed a few extra days for the conditions to improve so the finish would be exactly what my clients deserved.
Quality will always come before speed. Sometimes the best results require a little extra patience, and Iām grateful for homeowners who trust the process. In the end, everyone was thrilled with the finished productāand I think the photos speak for themselves!
